Downs Fine Art, LLC owner Kevin Downs holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Western Washington University with a concentration in Archaeology. While pursuing his degree at WWU Kevin studied Mayan Archaeology and Pre Columbian Art abroad in Guatemala. He was inspired by Northwest Coast Art while living in Washington State where he attended archaeology field school and completed a Museum internship. Upon graduation, Kevin worked as a professional contract Archaeologist throughout the United States and in Museum Collections where he obtained a deep understanding of Ancient and Ethnographic artwork. As a third generation antique dealer, Kevin curates rare artwork for clients who strive for quality, rarity and value. Downs Fine Art, LLC is based in Lexington, Kentucky.
